A Lifetime of Italian Style

At the age of 20, I found myself standing in Piazza Venezia in Rome, gazing at the magnificent Vittorio Emanuele II Monument and the splendour surrounding it. Yet what captivated me most was the effortless elegance of the Romans themselves — beautifully cut jackets, fine fabrics and a natural sense of style that seemed part of everyday life. From that spring morning in 1974, I became hooked on all things Italian.

By the late 1980s I was living and working in Tuscany near the famous spa town of Montecatini Terme, where I founded a fashion buying office, Agenzia 14, working with some of Italy’s most respected clothing manufacturers and textile producers.

After almost 30 years immersed in Italian fashion, fabrics and craftsmanship, I created our own brand — Catini.

Inspired by Tuscan heritage and Italian style, Catini is the result of a lifetime spent in Italy’s fashion world.

Now, 52 years after that first espresso in Piazza Venezia on a sunny morning in Rome, Catini is ready for its launch.
